Gardaí in Thurles detained a man over the weekend after they observed him acting suspiciously.
The man was subsequently searched and Garda uncovered a number of capsules containing white powder, weighing scales and zip-lock bags.
The man has been charged on suspicion of being in possession of drugs for sale or supply to the approximate value of €1,000 and now faces court charges.
