A series of public meetings and online sessions are planned for the coming weeks to discuss the priorities for the next LEADER Programme which will run until 2027.
County Tipperary is allocated €7.8M and the development programme will open for applications later this year.
Funding will be available for both private and community based projects with a focus on enterprise, job creation, rural infrastructure, environment and climate actions.
The five evening meetings will take place in Killenaule, Nenagh, Tipperary town, Templemore and Clonmel between March 27th and April 3rd.
In addition, there will be three county based online zoom consultations on the 3rd, 4th and 5th of April – these are morning events scheduled for 10.00am – 11.30am.
They will focus on economic development and job creation, rural infrastructure and social inclusion and thirdly sustainable development of the rural environment.
