Repairs to a burst water main may cause supply disruptions to Tipperary Town and surrounding areas.
Tipperary County Council staff have established the location of a water leak in Tipperary town that is disrupting supply from Bank Place along Main Street to the Shopping Centre.
The plumber is on the scene at present and the repairs may be completed and supply restored by 3pm – earlier than the initial forecast.
Seven council staff are on site at the entrance to the car park area at the rear of Bank Place at present.
Some traffic disruption is likely due to the repairs as traffic cones have been placed to slow traffic approaching the work area on the westbound carriageway.
