Clonmel is to be the venue for the 2023 Camogie Association Annual Congress from March 31st to April 1st. Tipperary Camogie Board says it is honoured to host this year’s Congress at The Talbot Hotel, Clonmel.
150 representatives from every county and provincial councils and delegates from the association’s International Units, along with President of the Camogie Association Hilda Breslin and Ard Stiúrthóir Sinead McNulty will come together for early registration with the Congress commencing deliberations at 7.30pm on Friday March 31st.
Tipperary Camogie says it will be using the opportunity to showcase a lot of the positive developments in Tipperary including recent improvements at the County Camogie Grounds and recent partnerships with St Joseph’s College Borrisoleigh and MIC Thurles. Tipperary Camogie was one of the first Camogie boards to acquire and develop it’s own pitch after a decision in 1989 to purchase a field offered for sale located near The Ragg outside Thurles. The Board says it will also use the occasion to highlight some of the wonderful local produce and businesses in Tipperary.
