‘A straight talker, a leader and a gentleman’ are some of the words being used to pay tribute to former Tipperary Gaelic Football manager who died suddenly yesterday.
Liam Kearns who was the current Offaly football manager however he led the Premier County to a 2016 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship semi-final.
He also enjoyed success with the Limericks under 21s prior to managing the senior inter county panel.
Tributes have been coming in from the GAA Community including the Limerick Supporters Group and Tipperary GAA & Tipperary Football Committee and Limerick GAA while Antoinette Cunningham, Gen Sec Association of Garda Sergeants & Inspectors is paying tribute to Liam who was a former colleague of the AGSI.
