Patients at TUH in Clonmel and UHL in Limerick continue to experience delays in admission. Nineteen patients in TUH Clonmel are receiving care while waiting on a trolley. In University Hospital Limerick today a total of 102 patients are experiencing delayed admission. 43 admitted patients are waiting on trolleys in the Emergency Department while a further 59 admitted patients are accommodated by placing their trolley in some ward of the hospital.
Nationally, a total of 462 admitted patients are waiting for beds according to today’s INMO Trolley Watch. 337 patients are waiting in the emergency department, while 125 are in wards elsewhere in the relevant hospital.
