The community of Roscrea is being asked for it’s views with regard to developing a Town Centre First Masterplan which aims to map out future development, focus on tackling dereliction and vacant properties, and make the town centre a more attractive place to live, work, socialise and run a business. A team of consultants led by O’Mahony Pike Architects have been commissioned by Tipperary County Council to undertake a Town Centre First Masterplan for Roscrea in collaboration with the Town Team.
Two workshops are planned and members of the community are invited to attend to give their views on Roscrea and learn about the project. Both workshops will be held in the Black Mills, Church St. Roscrea – the first on March 11th between 1.30pm and 3pm and the second on March 15th between 7pm and 8.30pm. For those who cannot attend an in-person session there will also be an online workshop at 7pm, March 14th. The public are also invited to complete an online survey available until March 22nd. One relates to members of the broader community and the second is for the business sector. Full details are available on the council website at this link here
