South Tipperary Leader Company is asking people to get involved in a programme to learn practical skills on how to enhance biodiversity and preserve habitats in their local area, community, workplace, club or home.
South Tipperary Leader will provide with training to enable participants to create an achievable action plan to preserve and enhance local habitats. The course will focus on four broad habitat types – Woods/hedgerows, Bogs, Ponds/rivers and Grasslands.
The course will be delivered in a blended method by zoom, face to face workshops and field trips on Saturdays over a 9-month period taking an average of about 2.5 hours of classes per week with no formal assessments involved. The closing date for applications is Wednesday 8th March 2023.
