Open Drama Festival Beginning On March 17th In County Tipperary

County Tipperary Open Drama Festival is to be held this year beginning on March 17th. The nine day festival is offering a feast of entertainment with productions of The Playboy of the Western world, The Seafarers, Blithe Spirit and I do not like thee Doctor Fell amongst others.  The festival is to be staged in St. Michael’s Community Centre, Holycross and the Adjudicator will be Mr. Peter O Driscoll.

The festival is one of 35 that will select the 9 finalists for the National Drama Finals to be held in Athlone later this year. Full details of the festival can be found on the website tipperarydrama.ie. The festival offers a season ticket or a ticket for an individual performance. The organisers stress that the curtain is at 8.30pm each night except on the final night when the performance begins at 8pm. Enquiries to  086 257 5159.
