A planning application for enhancements to the Tipperary Hill has been published by Tipperary county council.
Funding of €500,000 was secured via the Town and Village Scheme for the project.
The application is now open for submissions from the public under the Part 8 planning process.
There is no fee to make a submission and the closing date is April 11th.
The plans are available to view at the Tipperary Council offices on Rosanna Road, Tipperary town or in the council offices in Nenagh and Clonmel.
The proposal can also be viewed online on the council website at this link here
Overall the project involves making the access paths more user friendly, adding bicycle parking, information boards, adding seating, improving the flat hollow playing pitch, improved pedestrian access from Monastery/Bohercrowe road, adding timber steps to the Cup and Saucer area alongside two log seats at that location, additional planting especially near the telecoms mast and adding a fenced dog exercise area to the west of the Hollow.
