A Tipperary man has been appointed as editor of the Irish Farmers Journal(IFJ). Dr Jack Kennedy has worked for the IFJ for almost 20 years as dairy editor and most recently as deputy editor. Mr Kennedy takes up his new role with immediate effect – the previous editor Justin McCarthy is to retire as announced in July 2022.
The Irish Farmers Journal is published by The Agricultural Trust and has over 320,000 print readers according to market research by Kantar. It also publishes several other publications including The Irish Field, Irish Country Magazine and The Irish Garden Magazine.
