Gardaí have arrested a man after the discovery of suspected Diamorphine (Heroin) in Thurles.
Whilst carrying out patrols at Thurles Train Station yesterday evening the officers encountered a male acting suspiciously in the area.
This male was subsequently searched under Misuse of Drugs Act where a large quantity of the illegal drug was located.
The male was arrested and detained at Thurles Garda Station, with file being prepared for the DPP.
