lThe Irish Blood is asking for immediate donations as supplies across all groups are running critically low.
The IBTS is running a blood donation clinic at the Dome in Semple Stadium next Monday to Thursday from 4:45pm to 8pm.
The organisation is urging people to book their appointment by calling on 1800 222 111.
Director of Donor Services and Logistics Paul McKin-ney says the recent high level of respiratory illness has impacted supplies.
Mr McKinney says hospitals are experiencing extreme pressures recently and there’s been a sustained high demand for blood.
