Killenaule’s Rachel Blackmore and Honeysuckle take on five opponents on Sunday in her final race at Leopardstown Racecourse.
Hopes are high in the Henry de Bromhead camp that Honeysuckle can bounce back to winning ways in the Grade 1 Chanelle Pharma Irish Champion Hurdle at Leopardstown on Sunday.
The countdown to retirement is on for the historic mare as she bids to win the race for the fourth straight year.
Honeysuckle is expected to take part in other race meetings during the Spring as the National Hunt Season continues.
The nine year old has career winnings to date of approximately €1.47M and twice won the Cheltenham Hurdle. (2021, 2022)
