Permanent TSB has now opened for business at 49 Liberty Square Thurles following its recent acquisition of the former Ulster Bank premises. Permanent TSB has existing branches in Nenagh and Clonmel – the company acquired 25 branches from Ulster bank and now has 98 branches across the country.
The building in Thurles has seen investment of upward of €1M as new ATMs and IT equipment, and new signage and display were installed. The branch will offer cash services and will be staffed by personnel who worked there when the location was owned by Ulster Bank.Ulster Bank is to close all of its branches in Ireland on April 21st as it and KBC Bank of Ireland both exit the Irish retail banking market.
