Tipp Council Website Gets A Layout Revamp

436

Tipperary County Council has updated it’s website – the website address remains the same but the layout is a major redesign.

The new council website is to be officially launched on February 13th.

The site reports approximately 1.1 – 1.4m page views a year.

During the pandemic the engagement was towards the higher end as there were a lot of support schemes and information solely available online.

Combined with the offices being restricted the website proved an invaluable communication tool.

New features such as ‘your area’ and facilities mapping have been added to the site and these will be further expanded in the coming months.

The work is done by an internal team within the council in collaboration with delivering other IT services such as portals for Choice Based Letting(Housing) and online grant applications.

The new site has been rated top in the country for accessibility – meaning the site is user friendly for users with a disability –  a key goal for the design team. The website can be viewed here
