Donors are being asked to make an appointment to provide a blood donation by the Irish Blood Transfusion Service.
The service is working to ensure that there is no disruption to planned medical care due to shortage of blood products. At present supplies of all blood types are lower than ideal but especially type O, A negative and B positive.
Donation clinics are planned for four locations in County Tipperary next month –
Thurles February 13 – 16 inclusive
Nenagh and Clonmel February 20 – 23 inclusive
Cahir on February 27th.
The venues are; The Dome in Thurles, the Abbey Court Hotel Nenagh, Hotel Minella Clonmel and at Cahir House Hotel.
