Tipperary Cahir Cashel MD council will meet on Monday in the Council offices at 11am.

Prior to the meeting the Councillors are to take part in a workshop in respect of progress with the N24 Cahir towards Oola road project.

ARUP consultants are to provide a project update on the www.n24cahirlimerick.ie website at 11am on Monday – the project includes a By Pass for Tipperary Town.

At the monthly meeting there are 4 motions for consideration by the 11 councillors.

Cllr Tony Black is seeking the restoration of 3 bins to Canon Hayes Park, Cllr Michael Fitzgerald has submitted the other 3 motions- these deal with a request that Irish Water restore the Galtee Water source supply to it’s original source instead of boreholes as in recent times, Cllr Fitzgerald  is also seeking Council support for the Circle of Friends Cancer Support Centre’s application to the HSE for section 39 funding to secure an annual funding source.

The Fine Gael councillor’s third motion calls on the council to upgrade pipes under the road at Mountwilliam, Kilfeacle to deal with flooding.

The local property owners have cleaned adjacent drains but the Councillor says the pipe under the road is not of an adequate capacity for the volumes of water at the location.
