Visiting restrictions at Tipperary University Hospital will be lifted from today.
It follows a meeting between hospital management and the outbreak committee.
However, visiting continues to be limited to one visitor daily /per patient, this action is necessary to protect all patients.
People will be able to visit patients between 2pm – 4pm and 6.30pm – 8.30pm.
No visiting is allowed outside of these hours unless in exceptional circumstances by prior arrangement with the ward/department manager
Meanwhile trolley watch figures shows 51 patients are awaiting a bed in a ward at University Hospital Limerick yesterday while 2 patients are on a trolley at TUH.
