Life saving equipment has been further vandalised on the River Arra Walk in Tipperary town.

A further two of the eight lifebuoys initially installed on the amenity are now missing.

It was reported on Monday that the ropes had been stolen from all 7 remaining lifebuoys and that a lifebuoy situated close to an area of deep water was missing.

The walkway opened to the public on December 23rd but construction works are not yet complete.

A children’s playground made from natural materials and a boardwalk area over the pond are yet to be installed along with heritage signage.
