Many parts of Tipperary are likely to experience below -5 degrees from this evening and overnight.
The county will be under a status orange Low temperature and ice warning from 5pm until 12 noon tomorrow Monday.
Met Eireann says there’ll be severe frost and further icy stretches will set in on Sunday night, accompanied by patches of freezing fog.
The met Office says the cold snap will continue in the week ahead.
