Tipperary is under a winter weather advisory this week.
Met Eireann says Artic airmass will establish itself over the country.
The weather conditions will bring sharp to severe frosts and icy stretches on roads along with showers of hail, sleet, and snow will occur during the second half of the week.
The weather advisory is in place from now until 11:30pm on Saturday.
Updates with potential warnings will be issued by the weather organisation in the coming days.
