A former post office on Gladstone street in Clonmel is to be given a new lease of life as Mulligan’s Pharmacy Group is set to open a flagship Tipperary store
The new location will feature a Pharmacy, Café and a Lifestyle store and is set to open on December 16th.
The heritage building at 32 Gladstone Street in Clonmel town centre has been saved from dereliction as Mulligan’s Pharmacy merge their two Clonmel stores into the newly transformed 5,000 square foot enterprise.
The Old Post Office dates back to 1901 – the name for the new Café is Café 1901 and it will feature 44 seats serving delicious speciality coffee, herbal teas, healthy smoothies and milkshakes
Sandwiches and savoury treats. The opening is the group’s 20th retail store in addition to 19 other stores across Waterford, Kilkenny, and South Tipperary and at Arnott’s in Dublin. The family group will now employ 280 people across the region.
