Overcrowding continues to be a problem at local hospitals today.
Tipperary University Hospital reports 22 patients experiencing delayed admission.
16 patients are in the Emergency Department area and a further 6 are accommodated in some ward of the hospital by adding a trolley.
University Hospital Limerick reports 55 admitted patients in the Emergency Department waiting for a bed and a further 29 admitted patients in UHL are accommodated by adding a bed to some ward of the hospital.
The 22 patients in TUH Clonmel and the 84 in UHL are included in a national total of 564 admitted patients waiting for beds according to today’s INMO Trolley Watch report.
