It’s been a very busy weekend so far for Gardaí in Co. Tipperary.
Below are some of the incident spotted across the county.
👉🏽A motorist was stopped driving poorly. The driver, a learner permit holder driving unaccompanied with no l/plates was arrested after failing a drug test for Cannabis. Vehicle seized.
👉🏽Another vehicle was seized when the driver attempted to evade Gardai and was discovered to have no insurance. Vehicle seized & court to follow.
👉🏽A suspicious vehicle was intercepted in a rural area & during a search of the vehicle we seized a small quantity of Cannabis.
👉🏽Speed enforcement was carried out in a number of locations. Among the notable detections on the M8 involved 160km/h & 149km/h (€160 + 3 penalty points issued) in wet conditions, a number of other offences were detected varying in offences.
The force says visibility will be high today and are urging drivers to slow downa and arrive alive.
