Gardai have arrested a driver and seized their van after it attempted to reverse back up the road from a checkpoint.
Tipperary RPU were performing a checkpoint in Thurles.
The motorist was arrested on suspicion of Drink Driving.
Enforcement will continue to promote saver roads with the focus of reducing serious injury & fatal collisions on our roads.
