Work is underway on a third mural in Tipperary town, weather permitting the project will be completed over the next few days.
The Mural is located on the side of the Tipperary Youthwork premises on Blind Street at the Eastern end of town.
The theme was developed during workshops held last month and will reflect youth and popular activities.
The artist involved is Zabou, a French street artist based in London.
As an artist Zabou tries to deliver realistic murals that make the world a more colourful place, one wall at a time.
Detailed personal portraits are a feature of her work which has been completed in Ireland, France, Germany, Albania, USA, Asia and the UK to date.
She likes to push visual and spatial boundaries, sometimes creating playful pieces finding inspiration in everyday life, but also in the history and the surroundings of where she paints.
The Murals Project in Tipperary Town is part of the Revitalisation Strategy and will see a further two large scale murals delivered before Christmas.
One is to reflect the town’s Industrial Heritage and the other will have Musical Heritage as a theme.
