Water Disruptions At Greenane Being Investigated

Several parts of the local area are impacted by water outages today.

There’s currently an investigation into reports of a supply disruption to Greenane, Friarsfield and surrounding areas near Tipp Town.

Irish Water reports that a reservoir interruption may cause supply disruptions to Annacarty, Dundrum, Knockavilla, Donohill, Rahyvira, Chadville and surrounding areas in Co. Tipperary today.

The repair works are not expected to be completed until 1pm tomorrow Tuesday  18 October.

An unplanned power outage may cause supply disruptions to Carrigmore  near Doon and surrounding areas in Co. Limerick.

This is expected to be restored by 4pm  today.

Repairs to a burst water main may cause supply disruptions to Knockgraffon, Suirville, Rossadrehid, Cashel and surrounding areas in Co. Tipperary today. 

Works are scheduled to take place until 7pm this evening.

Customers of Irish Water in the Drangan Road area of Cloneen near Fethard are also without water at present due to a burst water mains pipe.

Irish Water hope to have this repaired by 3pm today and advise customers to then give an additional 2 – 3 hours before supply will have returned to normal.
