A workshop for owners and leaseholders of vacant or underused properties is being held in the Excel Centre in Tipperary Town tomorrow – October 6th.
The morning event will begin at 10am and feature a number of presentations from officials in planning and heritage organisations.
Property owners that have repurposed previously vacant buildings will also give presentations.
Details of current funding streams available from the Government and the Heritage council will also be provided.
In addition, details of the new Streetscape Enhancement Scheme for Tipperary town will be revealed.
Funding of €100,000 was awarded to Tipperary Town under this strand of Town and Village Renewal 2022.
The focus of this funding is likely to be on the Main Street and Bank Place areas.
