Work on a Community Mural in James Connolly Park in Tipperary Town scheduled for tomorrow has been postponed due to the poor weather conditions at present. The rescheduled date will be available at the start of next week. The work is part of a larger murals project in Tipperary Town led by the local Murals committee supported by the Tipp Revitalisation Task force.
In addition to the community mural – four major murals by Professional artists are well advanced for Tipperary Town. These murals will cover the themes of Biodiversity (Abbey Street, Industrial Heritage(Bridge Street), Youth culture and Heritage(Main Street) and Music (James Street).
It is hoped that all the murals will be completed by late Spring.
