The organisers of Semple Field Day, in Thurles, to be held on September 18th are making an appeal for cake donations.
Tipperary GAA and Fiserv, the main sponsor of the Tipperary Teams, are hosting the event to raise funds for hospice service in North and South Tipperary.
The Hospice Stand on the day will hold an all day coffee morning and donations of cakes/buns can be made on the day from 11.30am onwards.
GPs across the county have also been asked to make a donation of €50.00. UPMC has offered to match all GP donations up to a maximum of €10,000.
The event also includes a dog show, monster bingo, and children’s activities plus a wide range of market stalls.
There are also opportunities to meet Tipperary GAA stars. Miss Tipperary 2022 Megan Kelly & the 2022 Tipperary Rose Aisling O’Donovan will also be assisting at the event.
The public are asked to make a donation for admission and €5 has been suggested by the organisers.
Admission begins at 11.30am – Bingo and Dog show begin at 1pm and the Auction at 4pm – donation of items for the Auction is also appreciated.
