A Tipperary dog is in the running to be the next Nose of Tralee.
The 9th annual contest aims to find the cutest, funniest, or most adorable pet in Ireland.
The Tipperary rep is Mr Shelby who owners says has been its rock and best friend during the lockdown but getting them out of the house for a walk.
The owner says Shelby even has his own Instagram page and is always there to listen,snuggles and cry on
The annual contest is in its 9th year and aims to find the funniest, or most adorable pet in the country.
People are being encouraged to vote before the deadline of August 22nd on petsittersireland.com.

Shelby (mr Shelby ) has being my rock and best friend during the pandemic to get me out of the house for a walk and he was always there to listen ! So I then decided to start up a instagram account of Shelby for fun and to see what we ( he) gets up to, which distracted my mind from the pandemic ! He was always there to listen,snuggles and cry on , we definitely have a special bond together and we got each others back , he will always be my best friend.
