Almost 270 refugees from Ukrainian are living in West Tipperary according to the latest Central Statistics Office.
There’s 105 in Tipperary/Cashel electoral area, 98 are in Thurles while 60 are based in Cahir.
Overall 776 refugees from the Eastern European country are living in the county, nationally the 47,962 have arrived to our shores.
Women aged 20 and over account for 47% of arrivals to date, while individuals aged 0-19 (both male and female) account for 36%.
The highest percentage of those arriving (38% or 18,079 individuals) were categorised as ‘One parent with children’
