Funding of €315,541 is being provided to support a range of community projects in Tipperary which will benefit people of all ages under the CLAR Programme
Projects in Tipperary which will benefit include:
- – Sean Treacys GAA Club – Community carpark enhancement – €50,000
– Solohead GAA Club – An all-weather AstroTurf developed as part of an integrated 5-
year community development plan – €50,000
– Clogheen Playground Committee – Upgrade Clogheen playground and provide disabled toilet facilities in the adjacent public toilets building – €50,000
– Knock GAA – Knock Community Ball Wall & 3G Astro-Turf Facility – €50,000
– Clonakenny Playground and adjoining car park Enhancement – €15,141
– Resurface Drombane Village Car Park – €23,400
– Cloughjordan FC Community Facility Development – Transformation of greenfield site into an inclusive community facility incorporating two playing pitches, parking and changing areas – €50,000
– Resurfacing of Drangan playground and provision of new play equipment along with repairs to existing equipment – €27,000
Nationally funding of €7.4 million euros is announced today for 175 community projects by the Department of Rural and community Development.
