Tipperary Library Service has announced that Cahir Library will only be open on Wednesdays for the coming weeks. The restriction in hours is due to staff shortages –the library is a single person operation and the current person is on sick leave.
Staff from other libraries will operate the service on Wednesdays until additional staff is recruited. Cllr Andy Moloney has confirmed that a panel for interview has been established to recruit more staff. In the meantime the library hours at Cahir will be Wednesdays from 10 – 1pm and 2 – 5pm
