Plans for a walking and cycling scheme linking Thurles Railway Station to Bohernamona Road are to be revealed today.
The local authority will publish the details for public consultation, it’s available to view on tipperarycoco.ie or at the council office until September 12th.
The shared path is intended to provide connectivity to schools along the route with a designated bridge crossing the river Suir north of the existing Bridge.
The route is expected to run along the northern boundary of the schools in Thurles with the aim to prompt a change in the modes of travel used to attend school.
Submissions on the project can be made by using the online feedback form on the virtual project website at www.tipperarycoco.ie or by email to [email protected] or by post to the Consultants office in Dun Laoghaire.
The closing date for submissions is Monday September 12th at 4.30pm.
