Services at Nenagh Injury Until will not be available tomorrow due to staff shortages. The unit cannot operate without a doctor and hospital Management has confirmed that the unit will be closed tomorrow Wednesday. The service was also closed on Friday and Saturday and operated reduced hours yesterday due to staff shortages. It is expected that Nenagh Injury Unit will function from Thursday onwards for it’s normal hours of 8am to 8pm. People who require treatment for minor injuries tomorrow should attend the Injury Units at St John’s Hospital in Limerick, or the Minor Injuries unit in Cashel. The Cashel service is available from 8.30am to 5pm.
People with minor injuries are asked not to attend the Emergency Department at UHL at this time. The Injury Unit in St John’s Hospital, Limerick, is open seven days, 8am-7pm.
