Tipperary Mid West Radio are looking for new volunteer presenters.
Do you enjoy pop music? Have you a great speaking voice? If so we want to hear from you.
Please email our Programme Controller Eoin O Donoghue at [email protected].
In your email tell us why you’d like to become a volunteer presenter, and the type of music you enjoy plus attach a radio demo (2-3 minutes in duration) – this should showcase your voice and personality.
So what will becoming a volunteer presenter involve?
Once we get through all the emails we’ll make contact with you.
The next step will be for you to visit the radio station for a chat and to organise a date/time to learn the studio desk, this process will happen over a number of weeks.
People will be fully trained before their first live broadcast.
We’re currently looking for volunteer presenters to fill in on existing shows ( on a casual basis .ie when presenter are unable to attend for their show particular at the weekend and week day evenings) however in time there could be an opportunity to get your own weekly show.
Over 70% of Tipp Mid West Radio shows are presented by volunteers and they play a vital role in ensuring the radio station continues to inform and entertain our listeners.
We hope to increase the amount of volunteers we have so we can continue to broadcast the hours we currently do.
The community radio station is an equal opportunity organisation which broadcasts on 104.8, 106.7FM and online at tippmidwestradio.com to Tipp Town, Cashel and surrounding areas.
