Gardaí have arrested an motorist who was 69km/h over the speed limit on the M7.
The Tipperary Roads Policing detected the driver travelling at 189km/h in Nenagh this afternoon.
The individual was charged to appear in court.
Separately in the early hours of this morning our RPU arrested a motorist in Nenagh on suspicion of Drug Driving.
There were numerous fixed charge notices issued for speed, mobile phone use, seatbelts amongst other offences.
Gardaí are appealing to road users to please drive safely.
