€15,000 Allocated For Tipp Museum Of Hidden History

€15,000 has been allocated to the Tipperary Museum of Hidden history in Clonmel.

This is to help fund an exhibition titled “Untold” about Tipperary’s Civil war.

The exhibition will include never before seen objects from the museum’s collection and unique family personal possessions.

The Tipperary Museum of Hidden history is located in Clonmel at Mick Delahunty Square and is open Tuesday  – Saturday.

Two Limerick projects were also successful with €15,000 being allocated to the Foynes Flying Boat and Maritime Museum to provide for a revamp of the museum’s Boeing 314 Flying Boat Replica.

€6,000 has been allocated to Limerick Museum for a project to document the story of Limerick Lace.

Fifteen Projects in regional museums across several counties are to share funding of €170,000 announced today by the Minister for Arts and Culture Catherine Martin.
