Tipp Fire Service Attended 715 Call Outs In First 6 Months Of 2022

Tipperary Fire and Rescue attended over 700 call outs in the first six months of the year.

Figures obtained by Tipp Mid West Radio shows Tipp Town firefights attended a total of 57 call outs – with a 50 percent split between fire and other related emergencies (which includes RTCs, rescues, medical emergencies) while 7 were deemed false alarms.

While the Cashel crew went to a total of 76 incidents, 32 were fire related while others incidents accounted for 38 – with 6 false alarms.

The data shows a high false alarm rate from January to June in Clonmel (21), Carrick-On-Suir (19), Cahir (18) and Thurles (13).
