Irish Water has lifted the Boil Water Notice that was in place on the Toomevara area of the Nenagh PWS with immediate effect. All consumers in the Toomevara area on the Nenagh Public Water Supply can now resume normal use of the water supply for drinking, food preparation and brushing teeth.
Irish Water and the Local Authority/Health Service Executive Water Liaison Group will continue to meet and will review ongoing process control, monitoring and testing of the drinking water supply.
Remedial works have been completed on the supply. The areas affected included Toomevara, Coolkereen, Pallas West, Monanore, Garrane, Ballinlough and surrounding areas.
