A Fianna Fail councillor based in Cashel is calling for action to prevent flooding for residents in a part of Emly.
A motion from Cllr Roger Kennedy seeking the insertion of an underground pipe at the road at Charterslands was also considered.
The Area Engineer will carry out an inspection of the area to determine an appropriate drainage solution.
Should works be deemed necessary the location will be submitted for a Drainage Grant next year.
