Cllr Andy Moloney had 3 motions for consideration at today’s meeting of the Tipp Cahir Cashel MD.
The Council is in the process of appointing a consultant to assess and design the junction at Supervalu in Cahir following a motion seeking an update on requests for a roundabout or improved road layout at the junction.
The council have also agreed to contact Local Link about the provision of an additional bus service between Ardfinnan and Cahir to meet connecting national bus routes and doctors’ services.
The third motion was also successful as the council agreed to re-advertise the Tipperary Road Roundabout in Cahir for the Sponsorship Scheme to fund an improved appearance subject to any proposal being approved by Transport Infrastructure Ireland(TII).
