Data from the Irish Community Air Ambulance shows that Tipperary had one of the highest call out rates across the south of Ireland last month.
ICAA crew attended 6 emergencies in the county with only Cork (17 call outs) and Kerry (12 call outs) using the service more while Limerick and Kilkenny used it once each.
Overall the ICAA were tasked with 42 medical trauma emergencies bring to 249 the total tasking carried out so far this year.
Some of the incidents included road traffic collision (16), cardiac arrest (8), farming related (4) half of those were animal attacks and strokes and STEMI heart attacks (4) in June.
The charity works in partnership with the National Ambulance Service and responds to serious incidents and medical emergencies from its base in Rathcool, Co. Cork.
The helicopter was launched in 2019 and serves a population of 1.5m people, primarily in the Munster region.
It has been tasked more than 1,300 times since then, it is run using donations from the public, people can donate by clicking here.
