Irish Water has confirmed today that the Boil Water notices issued for The Galtee and Fethard Public supply schemes remain in effect.
The water treatment plants in Rossadrehid and Fethard are the subject of ongoing testing and 3 consecutive days of satisfactory results are required to lift the boil before use notice.
Irish Water hopes to be able to lift the notice by the end of the week.

Any vulnerable customers registered with Irish Water will be contacted directly. The Irish Water customer care line is available at 1800 278 278 and operates 24 hours every day. Over 22,000 customers are impacted by the notices.
