There are 885 people in hospital with or because of Covid19 and 33 of these people are in ICU.
40,544 PCR tests have been completed in the last 7 days and as of 8am this morning they report a positivity rate of 37.3% which translates into 15,122 cases nationwide confirmed by PCR test in the last 7 days.
Data on a county basis shows that there have been 813 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in County Tipperary over the past 14 days up to and including Tue, 28th June 2022.
The rate of COVID-19 per 100,000 people in Tipperary over the past 14 days is 509.50 – the highest on a county basis is county Limerick with a rate of 579.3 cases per 100,000 of population while county Cavan is the lowest at 341 cases per 100,000 of population.
