The final touches are being made ahead of the Age Friendly Bike launch in Cahir this coming week.
New pedestrian pathway was introduced while a lot of tidying was done along the Swiss walk over the last few days.
Cllr Andy Moloney says bookings will be completed through the hotel with 2 days notice required.
The Independent councillor says a lot of work has gone onto the surface of the walk in preparation for this day.
The town based councillor says many people have been involved in getting this initiative up and running from Tipp Sports Partnership and the Community and Enterprise section, the local authority and Cahir Tidy Towns members for the continuous maintenance of hedgerows and planting and for taking on the bike as a pilot scheme.
This is a facility to be enjoyed by those from a wide catchment area.
