The HSE is re-organising it’s Covid testing and vaccination centres and this will lead to some changes in the opening Hours across the Mid West Community Healthcare Area.
The test centres in operation are located in Ennis, in Nenagh at the Old Castlebrand Factory, Tyone, and in Limerick at the Eastpoint Business Park, Ballysimon Road.
From Friday 1st July the new opening hours at all 3 sites (Limerick, Ennis and Nenagh) will be 8:45am to 4:30pm seven days a week. Each site will close for 30minutes for lunch between 1pm and 1:30pm each day
There is no change to the referral system and this is either through your GP or through the self-referral portal.

The Covid test centre based in Clonmel will move to a new location tomorrow.
It will now be located on the grounds of Tipperary University Hospital (Heywood Road Entrance) and testing will cease to be provided at the Moyle Rovers GAA grounds.
In the seven days to June 29th over 37000 Covid PCR tests were completed nationwide with a positivity rate of 35.3%.
At present there are 776 patients in hospital with or because of Covid and 31 of these patients are in ICU.
