The price of the average second-hand three-bed semi in County Tipperary has risen by 1.8% to €208,750 in the last three months, according to a national survey
The Real Estate Alliance survey shown that 69% of sales in the county are to first-time buyers, with 13% of all purchasers coming from outside the area.
Across the county, the average time taken to sell is three weeks.
Larger towns in Tipperary suffer from a severe shortage of houses for sale or rent according to the analysis which also predicts that due to rising material costs and inflation indicate that demand will continue to outstrip supply for some time.
Over 1000 targeted college places will be offered through the through the CAO for the 2022/2023 academic year.
The extra course places are in areas such as IT, architecture and construction, nursing, engineering, education and welfare.
The government also plans to expand third level target places through 16 new apprenticeship programmes.
The new apprenticeships are in the areas of Roofing and Cladding, Robotics and Automation, and a degree programme in Cybersecurity.
The government is also working to provide extra places in medicine as the intention is to provide courses in areas that currently have a lack sufficient qualified personnel.
While the Post-Leaving Cert course levy of €200 will be abolished in September.
